  • Here is what got X30 Masters winner Frederik Blin and Aussie Kip Foster disqualified from the IAME International Final on Sunday. The regulations require drivers to proceed straight to parc ferme after the race without stopping, so when Blin pulls up (and greets fellow Kosmic driver Joseph Mawson) and Kip decides to join him, well...


  • A number of photos galleries from the Race of Stars on the weekend are now online. Check out the pics on the event's Facebook page HERE (includes on-track shots plus festivities on the Gold Coast); another gallery is on speedcafe HERE. No doubt there will be some further great snaps printed in the next issue of KartX Magazine in a few weeks time.

  • You've probably seen a similar view on the V8 telecasts - a camera pointing at the tyre showing sidewall flex and deformation. Well, here's the karting equivalent! Patrick Carter's video is two laps around the Newcastle circuit with a Tony Kart EVR / IAME X30 / MG Red combo:

  • The Whitsunday Titles will run at the Mackay Kart Club this weekend. It's not too late to purchase a ticket in the Arrow X3 CIK chassis raffle.
