An expanded television schedule for the 2013 CIK Stars of Karting Series presented by Castrol EDGE will begin this Wednesday night on SPEED TV (Foxtel Channel 512) across the country.

Over the coming four weeks, viewers across the country will be taken on a journey through kart racing with a one-hour program dedicated to each of the Pro categories and a half-hour show for the support classes from the final round of the 2013 series.

Each of the broadcasts will feature much more than just the racing with the team at YBI Creative building several technical and personality features into the programs.

Edited and produced by Mark Boxer, the shows are hosted by motorsport expert Chad Neylon with commentary of the races by series commentator Matt Payne and the experienced Richard Craill.

“When Lee (Hanatschek) approached us to work with him for the 2013 telecasts of the Series, we set our goals pretty high of being able to provide a top notch broadcast to show that karting is a very professional sport in its own right. After seeing the finished product last week, I’m confident that we have achieved this goal,” said YBI Creative’s Director Rob Sharp.

“In the past we’ve been involved in producing shows for several motorsport championships and this has been one of the most exciting that we’ve all been involved in. The excitement that kart racing produces is incredible and I believe we’ve been able to translate this excitement to a wider audiences through the telecasts.”
