  • Yahho / 7 News report there are plans to build South Australia’s biggest motorsport complex at Tailem Bend. The Peregrine Corporation has just bought the old Mitsubishi test track and plan to spend $40 million turning it into a world class motoring facility - but at this stage there is no mention of a kart track...   • Echuca (Vic) karter Shaun Costello claimed his first state title last weekend, winning the Junior National Heavy class at the South Australian Open Karting Championships in Adelaide. The Riverine Herald did an article on the teenager, which can be read on the AKA site HERE. Costello will compete in the final round of the Golden Power Series at Puckapunyal this weekend.

  • BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) is now a publicly listed company, therefore has to make public certain documents and information about its business. It recently reported the financial results for the three and six-month periods ended July 31, 2013. "Our second quarter results were right in line with our expectations" said President and CEO, José Boisjoli. "I'm particularly pleased with the 16% growth in retail sales of our products in North America during the quarter." BRP turn over about 3 billion dollars (CAN) per year.   • The North Shore Kart Club's annual presentation is just around the corner. Attendees will need to purchase tickets ($35 for adults, $15 for kids).
