Warwick Kart Club 2014 Season Preview (The Friendly Place to Race)
After a year of extensive track and facility improvements throughout 2013, the Warwick Kart Club is poised for a huge 2014 season with the return of the Rotax Pro Tour in June, the Queensland Junior Top Guns to be run again in August and 2 Rounds in February and early June of the proposed SEQ DD2 and J-Max Series.
In addition Warwick Kart Club, with their strong emphasis on Junior Development, will be the host for the inaugural Queensland Junior Karter’s Clinic in April.
The 2014 WKC Race Dates are,
With the Pro Tour scheduled for the weekend of 21st and 22nd of June, Warwick Kart Club is awaiting approval to run DD2 at all Warwick meets prior to the Pro Tour event. The 1st of June Pro Tour Shakedown is expected to be a huge day with many taking this opportunity to get in final race practice for the Pro Tour Round 3 weeks later.
Whilst WKC have not yet finalized the classes which will run at each event, we would love to provide opportunities in the first half of the year for the Clubman and National contingents to get together for feature events, specifically on the 9th of March and 11th of May dates.
In addition the 4-Stroke brigade have been catered for at Sandy Creek Raceway with dedicated practice days on Saturday 26th of January and Saturday 15th of February, before their race dates on Saturday 15th of March and later in the year on Saturday 15th of November.
