Millar Goes Sprintcar Racing

After racing karts for many years, Sam Millar has turned her hand to have a play on dirt. Last Saturday night saw her debut in a Wingless Sprintcar.
Sam drove her brother Travis’ car in the Ladies Race held at Rosedale International Speedway. Sam got a 3rd, a win and a 3rd in her three heats, which gave her a starting position of 2nd in the feature. She dominated the field winning the feature by a straight length.

“It was so much fun. It turned way faster than I thought it would” said Sam.
Travis also raced in the main game, starting fifth in the feature and finishing a solid second place.
On the 15th of February Travis will sit out for the weekend and Sam will race the main game as well as the Ladies Race again.
