Early Shower For Kinsman At Pro Tour

press release 3 March 2014

New Zealand champ Daniel Kinsman had a weekend to forget at the latest round of Australia's Rotax Max Challenge Pro Tour at Dubbo in inland New South Wales, torrential rain drowning his kart's engine in the third Rotax Light class heat and with no spare seeing him sit out Sunday's Pre-Final and Final.

Fellow Kiwis, sisters Madeline and Ashleigh Stewart from Wellington, enjoyed a better run in the Junior Trophy class. But the unseasonably cold and wet conditions made the weekend one to endure rather than enjoy.

Madeline qualified sixth and carding a 12-9-6 run through the heats before finishing ninth in both the Pre-Final while Ashleigh qualified 15th and got as high as 12th in the heats before finishing 11th in the Pre-Final and 12th in the Final.

The weekend's round was the third of seven with the next at Lithgow in the Blue Mountains over the April 12-13 weekend.
