briefly, briefly...

  • Video summary of the Omar round of the UAE Rotax MAX Challenge. It looks like a pretty awesome track with plenty of elevation change, and how's the grandstand! "The organizer of the round did some filming" Paul Walsh informed KartSportNews. "Also may be of interest at 10 seconds in, you get a shot of the infamous Richie McLeod twisting the spanners."

  • Four-strokes have been added to the Rotax Can-Am ProKart Challenge. The opening round of the series later this month includes various categories for Rotax and SKUSA racers, but will also cater for a 'Local Option 206' class to provide 4-cycle racers with an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of a major international event. “Here in the Northwest, 4-cycle racing is very popular at the local and regional level,” series organizer Mike Rolison said. “Many of them have a long-term relationship with Briggs & Stratton racing engines (and) the new LO206 has been gaining popularity throughout North America. We felt its standardized rules package fits perfect with the Can-Am series.” The LO206 class runs on the MG Red tyre.
