  • Death and injury to spectators at the Jim Clark Rally on the weekend has prompted karting1.co.uk's Alan Dove to remind the karting authorities of the danger of rear axle failure and the potential for injury to karting spectators. Read it HERE.

  • Kart 1 Racing has limited vacancies in their transporter that's heading to the 2014 Queensland Sprint Kart Championships (Proserpine, July 9 to 13). The truck will depart Eastern Creek at the conclusion of the NSW Closed Titles on Sunday evening, July 6. “We have a limited number of spots left in the transporter for this meeting, and as such remind anyone who has not yet booked to please contact Kart 1 racing and secure their spot” Kart 1 advised KartSportNews. The remaining spots will be taken on a first come first served basis. “NSW Closed State Tiles racers may also load their gear in on Sunday evening, at the conclusion of the event.” To book a spot, phone Kart 1 Racing on 02 9672 7523 or email Fergus at fsymes@kart1.com.au

The westernadvocate newspaper website is running a vote "Do you think this is the right location for a go-kart track?" More info on the project, plus cast your Yes or No response, HERE.
