Now this is a good promotional video for karting.
It gives the average family some hope of being involved in motorsport without having to win the lottery.
The video is not flashy. It features no karting aces or motorsport stars. It does not talk about classes, engines or tyres.
Instead, it's about families going to their local track and having fun racing.
Well done to the Mid State Kart Club, USA.

I should clarify, I'm not saying we shouldn't have flashy videos promoting the top level of the sport and using motorsport stars to help do so. It's vitally important that there is a top 'pro' level of karting that the public and the motorsport industry is kept aware of.
But it's the local and regional racing that is the backbone of the hobby, and that is what this video targets.
