  • James Sera's Karting Centre welcomed Jordyn Sinni to the JSKC / FA Kart team earlier this month. "Jordyn is a very established driver in the Rookie ranks and we look forward to working with him further. We wish Jordyn the best of luck in his racing career" Sera said.

  • DPE Kart Technology chassis fixture build update - 75% of the base frame (which is used to manoeuvre the jig around) is complete. "Resting on the base frame is the start of the main table in its early stages. The accuracy of the main table frame is very important & must be 100% flat & square over its entire area to enable first time accurate fitment of the various jig accessories to come."

  • The popular Florida Winter Tour series in America has been sold. The MAXSpeed Group (US Rotax importer) has purchased both the FWT and Formula Kart Productions. The announcement was made by MAXSpeed's Richard Boisclair at the US Rotax Nationals on the weekend. MAXSpeed Group will take charge effective immediately. Preparations for the 2015 season include plans to continue both the Formula Kart and Rotax event weekends. The full announcement is on GoRotax.com HERE.

  • Tragedy struck on the weekend when a 14-year-old girl lost her life in a kart accident outside Texas Motor Speedway in the United States. Kierstin Eaddy was airlifted to a hospital after her kart failed to stop and went under a low fence after a race in a parking lot at the facility on Sunday morning. "It is unknown if she lost control because of a medical reason or if there was mechanical failure," a Fort Worth police spokeswoman informed the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
