Bas Lammers To Race Rotax Nationals

European karting star Bas Lammers will compete in the 2014 Australian Rotax Nationals at Ipswich next month.
Formula K Australia has advised that Lammers will race with their team in the DD2 class.
A double KZ1 World Champion (2010 with Intrepid, 2012 with Praga), Lammers will be accompanied by Formula K's head engineer, Eddie “Cash” van Belle. Cash is no stranger to Australia, having visited to offer race meeting support for the Australian Formula K team at last year's Rotax Nationals.

"To have Bas Lammers competing is fantastic for Australian Karting" said Formula K Australia's Jace Lindstrom.
"It really shows that big manufactures such as Formula K SRL are regarding Australia as a major market in world karting. By having these big names in world karting coming out to Australia to compete really helps lift the bar of Australian karting."
About Bas: Sebastiaan Willem Lammers (Bas for short) was born in Holland in December 1985. He is one of the best known names in world karting today and signed with the Italian Formula K works team for 2014..
