Change Of Career For Adam Klunyk

  16 August 2014

Adam Klunyk is no longer with DPE Kart Technology. The former South Australian has joined his father in-law at Temp-Log Australia, a company that's based around the supply of engineering instrumentation, calibration and certification. Part of the deal is that Temp-Log Australia has been appointed as an 'Alfano after sales service' contact.

"I am still working closely with DPE Kart Technology" Klunyk informed KartSportNews. "However, when I'm at the race track, I'm not representing DPE anymore, or providing DPE service for Arrow, Monaco or Deadly customers. Instead, I will be offering support for Alfano products, plus individual teams or drivers that engage me to do so. Saying that, I will continue to be the MG Tyre rep for the last CIK round."

'Klunka' started with DPE in 1998 in the kart assembly area. He subsequently worked in R&D, product development, tech support, race team, Sales & Marketing and various special projects (eg, Rotax and Ford KartStars). On track, he won 12 State Titles plus a National Championship in 2006, which was pretty much his last full year of racing.

"Adam did not only bring a great work ethic with him, his sense of humour came with the package as well & we have all enjoyed many laughs with him & at him over the years " DPE's Bart Price wrote in a farewell messege to DPE employees.
