Gerry had fantastic pace in the dry taking all there heat wins on the Saturday. Gerry had a fantastic battle with Tom Rattenbury in wet final race. Jerry was able to lead every lap of the final and take the win. Gerry with his clean sweep has brought him right back into the championship hunt leading into the final round, congratulations Gerry!

Rookies was next out on the track and there were four DJM representatives in this class in Beau Harris, Adam Campbell, Nick Trebilcock and Jackson Rice. All of the drivers ran in the top five at stages setting up an exciting final. At one stage in the final all four DJM pilots were inside the top five looking as though there was going to be a great result for the team. Beau Harris was able to take the win in the final winning his maiden open meeting with Adam Campbell taking third position for his maiden podium position at an open meeting. Nick Trebilcock came home in sixth with Jackson Rice in seventh with great results for both these drivers.

Cadets was out next and Fletcher Harris and Dayna Rice was out on the circuit. After showing great pace in all conditions Fletch had some terrible luck being hit off on pole position on the Saturday and was involved in altercations on the Sunday as well. Fletcher was able to come home in a respectable eighth spot with Fletch being a talent to watch in the future. Dayna was only at one of her first open meetings where she improved throughout the whole weekend coming home in eleventh in the final, keep up the good work Dayna.

Junior National Heavy took to the track with Victorian State Champion Cody Donald and Regan Clapham representing the DJM crew. Donald showed why he is the Victorian champion by taking a clean sweep and winning the final race by over five seconds, congratulations Cody. Regan didn’t have the weekend he was looking for but again showed great pace in both conditions coming home just outside the top five in sixth spot.
