The Albury Wodonga Kart Club has gone above and beyond to support its local kart family the Boys’ and Jordan’s fundraising campaign to attend the Rotax World Finals in Spain later this month.
They are inviting all karters to participate in a silent Auction being held at the club this weekend in conjunction with their major race meet, the Gold Rush 2014.

So far the most popular Auction items are the autographed and framed Red Bull Racing photos. Daniel Ricciardo is currently $300.00, Mark Webber at $160,00, and poor Sebastian Vettel is only on $30!
The Red Bull slot car set has a $60 bid and is valued at $170, this will be a collectors item featuring former team mates Webber and Vettel. Big thanks to REPCO Albury for these great donations.
For locals there is a midweek accommodation package at the lovely Lakeside B&B In Beechworth valued at $630.00 and donated by club members Kim, Ross and Jackson Griffiths currently sits on $200.00.
A range of designer watches for men’s and ladies including Kenneth Cole watches and Ford, thanks to Lifestyle Accessories Group and the Moore family.
Rotax Batteries Valued at $90.00 and $140.00 donated by Guttler Diesel, MAP PRO Portable torch/burner donated by BURSON Auto Parts Albury RRP $150.00 and current bid of $60.00.
There is more motorsports memorabilia including a bumper panel from Dale Woods’ BJR V8 Supercar, Wine Pack, Alpinestar Race Suit, remote control helicopter, tools, services and much more.
There is also a Raffle currently running and both the Raffle and Auction will wind up at the end of the Gold Rush race meeting on Sunday 2nd November.

Peter, Leanne, Jordan and the Boys family have been overwhelmed by the fantastic support being provided to assist Jordan racing DD2 at the World Finals in Spain and are hugely grateful and looking forward to the wonderful opportunity it will be.
