  • Some great video from the recent AIDKA WA State Titles at Busselton:

  • A meeting of 38 karting enthusiasts at Lakeside Park has set up the foundation for the formation of the Brisbane 4-Stroke Karting Club. "The meeting was a resounding success and I can officially inform everyone that our future is secure" the club's Jason Walvin & Greg Coomb informed KartSportNews. The duo has confirmed they will not be proceeding with the enduro on the big track, but have scheduled another three days running at Lakeside to see out the year. "The enduro will proceed next year, but perhaps in the cooler months and on our regular track where it can be run safely." Remaining 2014 dates: 16th November - Test and Tune. 30th November - Race Day Round 5 (track tba). 7th December - Exhibition Race Day.

  • Albury Wodonga Kart Club President John Reynolds was extremely proud to present club member Jordan Boys with a cheque for funds to assist participating in the Rotax Grand Final in Spain. The raffle of a Hot Lap with David Reynolds was won Marion Taylor. She was extremely excited, but seemed to think it would be her very lucky husband who would be taking the Hot Lap. "The Boys Family has been involved with the Albury Wodonga Kart Club since its inception" club Treasurer Sherry Richardson informed KartSportNews. "It was only mentioned on the weekend at the club's Gold Rush meeting, that Leanne has been in the control tower for over 20 years, making sure the meetings run as they should. It's a credit to her, so when Jordan won the chance to race in Spain, the Club was only too happy to come up with an idea to raise funds." A Silent Auction was also run and there are still a few items left, including watches & a fabulous collage of Michael Schumacher photos - to place a bid on these or any other items, jump on Jordan’s page: www.facebook.com/jordanboysofficial
