Fields Set For Rotax Worlds

from IKD 29 November 2014

Hamish Leighton and Steve Ellery will now advance through to the Pre-Final and Final of the DD2 Masters class at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals after finishing 2nd and 5th respectively in their second chance race. Both Aussies had to overcome completely wet conditions for the 8 laps and finish within the Top 6 to progress through.

Unfortunately for Sydney’s Jayden Ojeda and Melbourne’s Troy Woolston, the journey has come to an end. The Junior Max and DD2 driver were unable to acquire enough points from their heat races to take part in the second chance race. Both have had terrible luck all week, despite showing glimpses of enough pace to run at the pointy end of the field.
