Track Warrior Leisure Karting Options Lease or buy for opening series

Aidan Wright has finished 12th in the opening round of the Under 18 World Championships in Italy. The Aussie started 22nd in the final and got up to 17th in the opening lap, progressing to 12th soon after but then dropping a few positions. He moved up to 12th again before the end, mainly due to the retirement of others, including two kids who had a track-side shoving match after crashing out.

Matthew Graham (Zanardi) won the race ahead of Federico Sovana (Top Kart) and Pyry Ovaska (Maranello). A messy start saw pole-sitter Graham swamped as Michele Beccaria took over the lead. Antonio Giovinazzi (PCR) soon moved into P1 but DNFd when his chain broke. After some forceful driving to get by all those who swamped him off the line, Graham had worked his way to the front, winning by 3.9s.

UPDATE - Despite crossing the line first in both finals of the Karting Academy Trophy, Spain's Diego Rodriguez was not declared the winner of either! Aleksander Ndrio inherited the win in Race 1 after Rodriguez got a 3-second penalty for moving out of his starting lane before the starting lights were switched off. Rodriguez thought he had taken a convincing revenge in Race 2, however he came in underweight, handing the win to France's Dorian Boccolacci.
