U18 World Championship & Academy Trophy Interim report - Friday's heats

Joseph Mawson has taken a fantasic victory at the final round of the U18 World Championships in Bahrain! After qualifying 12th, Joey carded 2nd, 1st, 5th and 1st in his heats, then grabbed a 4th and 11th in the two pre-finals to line up fourth for the final. The Top Kart driver then won the final ahead of Charles Leclerc and Ben Barnicoat (both ART). Jacob Parsons was 15th. Henry Easthope was crowned U18 champion and Mawson's win moved him to fourth in the standings, just one point off third placed Anthoine Hubert. More to follow...
